The narcissist never felt that he could count on anyone. He often was adored and catered to by one or both parents. But there were high expectations and specific conditions placed on the budding narcissist. He was molded by a parent(s) to be the son or daughter that represented their vision of perfection. Unable to be free to become a spontaneous, unique individual, the narcissist beneath the surface, feels enraged and helpless. The narcissist's paranoia stems from unconscious aggressive internal parental images that he carries inside.

The narcissist trusts no one, feels completely alone, and is incapable of intimacy. Ultimately, narcissists are tragic figures: they can neither give or receive love.

If you have acne-prone skin, or your skin is often itchy and red, avoiding common ingredients in many skincare products and makeup may be the easiest way to calm irritated and blemished skin.

The first thing to remember about skincare products is that you get what you pay for. Cheap ingredients, while more easily obtained, are often harsh and pore-clogging. Secondly, ingredients are listed on product labels in order of quantity, so if you cannot avoid products containing bad ingredients, try to find products that list such ingredients near the end. Third, if you are purchasing products from behind a counter at the mall or from an online store, ask to see the ingredients - you may be surprised at what you find.

Although there are many ingredients you should avoid in skincare products and makeup, here are some of the worst offenders:

Octyl Stearate

This chemical is used in moisturizers, sunscreens, tanning oils, and eye creams, among others. It is both an irritant and comedogenic, meaning it clogs pores. Although proper moisturization is a must for healthy skin, avoid products containing octyl stearate. If you have ever noticed pimples in the delicate skin around your eye, consider switching your eye cream. Finally, while the dangers of tanning have been stressed due to the potential for skin cancer, harsh ingredients in tanning products is another reason to learn to love your pale skin. Sodium Chloride

This chemical is a detergent used in many hair and skin products. It helps the product to lather. If you must use a product with sodium lauryl sulfate, make sure you rinse your skin and hair thoroughly. Never leave a product with this ingredient on your skin. Also avoid sodium laureth sulfate.

There are numerous other ingredients to avoid, if possible. Acne-causing ingredients include: hexadecyl alcohol, oleth-3, and wheat germ oil. Irritants include: acetone, isopropyl alcohol, and colloidal sulfur. Mineral oil (petrolatum) may dry out skin in the long run, as will propylene glycol.

Even if a chemical has been approved as "safe" for skincare, it is important to remember that it may not be ideal for individuals with sensitive and/or acne-prone skin. Although "natural" ingredients (like the algae ingredients listed above) are touted as better for your skin, you should still be discerning about which products you use. Earth's Rotation Causes Circular Weather Effects

Over the centuries, as man has observed and studied climate conditions so critical to life, a number of weather effects have been observed, isolated and classified. All of these effects have their foundation on such basics as the sun's heat, moving air masses in the atmosphere and the level of water vapor in certain areas at a particular time. In most cases, the uneven or inconsistent heating of air creates a very complex series of wind strengths and direction.

Meteorologists and observers have established some classifications for certain aspects of the changing weather we experience. At present the list includes three significant types of air circulation that are based on the heat of the sun. One of these categories is the Hadley cell, so named because scientist George Hadley was instrumental in isolating and classifying them. This term is applied to air circulation in or very near the tropical regions of the Earth.

Simply stated, a Hadley cell occurs when tropical air (23.5 degrees north and south of the equator) is heated by the sun and begins to rise. This warm air mass spreads, encounters a barrier often called the tropopause, and sinks back to the ground. Generally, the falling air mass touches the Earth at about 30 degrees of latitude, north and south of the equator. As it sinks to the ground, the moving air mass displaces air at the surface. The air mass that moves out flows toward the equator, completing a cycle that can cause weather changes over a large region of the globe. When the same type of circulation occurs at latitudes farther north (30 to 60 degrees) they are known as Ferrel cells. Similar movement of air masses at the poles are called polar Hadley cells.

One of the interesting features of cells such as these is that they do not move in straight lines, north and south. Because the Earth is a planet rotating around the sun and rotating on its axis at the same time, moving air masses experience the Coriolis effect. This is not limited to air movement, however. All free-moving objects and fluids have a "right turn" motion north of the equator and a "left turn" motion south of the equator. Gustave-Gaspard de Coriolis is credited with first identifying this trait nearly 200 years ago.

What does this mean for air movement? The Coriolis effect deflects an air mass, creating what some have called a cyclonic flow. This circular movement applies to air around areas of low pressure, causing large air masses to turn clockwise in the Southern Hemisphere and counter-clockwise in the Northern Hemisphere. But that's not all. When the air is flowing around a high pressure system, the circular movement is just the opposite! Without the rotation of the earth, air masses would move quickly in a straight line, rapidly equalizing pressure.

That is what I asked myself years ago as I flipped through the pages of one of many published books on the subject. I read further and discovered the one simple answer. If one can believe in himself enough, he has the ability to make a reality of whatever it is that his desperate heart desires most. Now I am not a professor, nor am I a professional in the field of study in which this is taught. However, I am a person living in this 21 st century and going through the same challenges and struggles that everyone else goes through in daily life. A successful lawyer once told me as I sat across his desk telling him about all of my own financial struggles and his reply was simply "Mike, I got the same problem you have...just add more zeroes to your numbers." That is when I realized that everyone is indeed similar in their situations in life and anyone can achieve success, if they really get up and do it.

Now that is very easy for me to say, but it is very true. I personally believe much of what the law of attraction has to offer in that one's own truest and most sincere belief in himself can and eventually will lead them to great and wonderful things. This is why I am writing this article. I believe this is most certainly true...to an extent. I currently work in Hollywood where it was nearly impossible to get into, not to mention nearly impossible to ahead in years ago. No one would let me "in" and I was left out in the cold. I was just desperately waiting for the next person who could possible give me a chance, only to be passed by again as I gave them my best appearance of confidence. It didn't work. You know why? Both of these books share the same ideal of believing in you. Since I first 'fell off the turnip truck' so-to-speak in Los Angeles I had no chance. Later on, as things began to happen career-wise, I developed more self-confidence. I slowly realized that those who were in power and most successful in the industry do, indeed, know what this belief in oneself is. Those most successful individuals in every industry can see such self-manifested confidence with their own eyes.

The Law of Attraction and self-manifestation, when properly applied, I honestly believe is truly something that is always to be considered when applying the law of attraction in your own life. Believe in yourself no matter how great the odds appear to be because you will beat them. In addition, simply telling yourself things will happen over and over again while sitting in an empty room will not bring Santa Claus to your door on Christmas Eve, as many of us once believed as children. Take a Red Snapper fillet and put it in your microwave dish. Drizzle with a little olive oil and sprinkle a little Cajun seasoning. Cook for four minutes on full power. 4; Shrimp.

Take the heads off some shrimp and place you your microwave dish. Do not peel the shrimp. Cover and cook for two minutes. 5; Italian style Cod;

Chop some tomatoes and basil into a bowl, add a couple of spoons of olive oil and toss the ingredients together. Format: The test is made up of a set of 35 first and last names (70 words in all), representing various patterns, phonetic sounds, consonant blends, vowel sounds, and syllables. It is a more natural and appropriate set of words to decode, for students in grades four and up. Ask the child to pretend they are the teacher and they are taking morning attendance.

Scoring procedure: Use a check to indicate correct responses and write the phonetic spelling for any incorrect responses. If the student does not attempt a name, write "no" next to that name and encourage the child to continue. For polysyllabic words, consider the word correct regardless of where the student places the accent on the word. Each correct word/name is one point. However, I was not able to find what scores indicate frustration, instructional, and independent levels in Phonics they use or in my research. (See reflections below).

Time to Administer: There are no time constraints in this assessment.

Reason for administering this test: There are many word recognition and decoding tests that can be given, but according to Cunningham, " I wanted a measure of their (students) word identification ability that was not confounded but context but that was not just a list. Cunningham went on to explain that reading from a word list is unnatural and choosing the words is difficult since you risk choosing sight words they may already know. This test id more authentic and meaningful

Reflections: Since this is a qualitative test, I imagine there are no scoring levels and I might be mistaken about each word being worth one point. This test is designed to see; in what phonetic area the student needs instruction or support. This is a more authentic means of looking at a student's word attack techniques and decoding skills.

Assessment Goals: Designed to evaluate the basic word analysis (decoding) and word recognition skills of primary grade children. To assess student's ability to decode words with long and short vowel sounds, vowel patterns, word families, consonant blends, multi-syllabic words, and letter recognition and sounds.

Format: Section 1A - Ask student to tell you the sound the letter makes. If they cannot, ask them to tell you a word that starts with that letter. Section 1B - Repeat procedure from 1A. Section 1C - Have the student to vertically read the words in each word family group. You may model the first one. Example: Read, "am", then read, "clam". Section 2A - Have the students read the words across. If they read a word incorrectly, write down what they said. This section is assessing students' ability to decode words with short vowel sounds. Section 2B - The vowels are in isolation. Ask student to tell you the long and short sound each vowel makes. Section 2C - Have the student read the two vertical words in each column. For example, show "mat/mate". This section assesses student's ability to decode words with a "silent e". Sections 3A&3B - Assessing long vowel sounds with and without vowel pairs. Have students read the words across. Section 4 - Tell students, Here are some longer words." Model the first word, and then ask the student to read the rest of the words across.

Scoring Procedure: Each correct answer is worth one point. There is a scoring sheet. The assessment is to help the instructor plan instruction to support and strengthen weak areas.

Reflections: This is a basic assessment that builds on phonemic awareness. Also, if a student is not successful in completing all sections and instruction is designed to improve weak skills, retesting would show any improvement the student makes.

Assessment Goals: "Assess the strengths and weaknesses in reading and related areas of a particular child." The child may have difficulty deciphering certain sounds or unit phonemes. This test may pick up on a hearing issue that can impact on language related skills.

Assessment Goals: The San Diego Quick Assessment is a set of graded word lists that you can use to determine the learner's word recognition ability. It also helps to assess speed and automaticity of word identification.

Format, scoring procedure, time to administer: Put each of the following word lists on a 3x5 inch index card. Hint: On the back of the card put-

The reason for labeling is that if you drop the cards, you can sort them in order, but an older student cannot readily tell what grade level he or she is reading on. It is recommended to laminate cards or insert them in plastic sleeves.

Directions: Tell student "There are ten words on each card. I would like you to try every word on this card." Give the student one card at a time. Write words mispronounced. The test begins with the card of the words that are two levels below the actual grade level of the student. The cards are read while the administrator notes which words have been missed. Once the student misses three on a list, the test is compete and the testing goes no further.

Reflections: Although this test is quick to administer and gives a snapshoot into a child's word recognition, other assessments need to be given to get a full picture of the child's abilities.

Name of Assessment: The Developmental Spelling Test

Assessment Goals: The Developmental Spelling Test was designed to help teachers determine the specific stage of spelling development at which a child, in primary grades K-2, is functioning at. The five stages are Precommunicative, Semiphonetic, Phonetic, Transitional, and Conventional.

Format: The teacher calls out each spelling word on the list, followed by the provided sentence, and then repeats the spelling word again. The teacher should, "explain that the activity will not be graded as right or wrong, but will be used to see how children think certain difficult words should be spelled. Be encouraging, and make the activity challenging, playful, and fun" (Gentry, 1993). Teachers are looking for inventive spelling.

Phonetic spellers spell the words as they sound, though spelling may ne unconventional. (Example: mostr for monster)

Reason for administering this test: To see where the child places in spelling and to create instruction that will strengthen the student's skills. It can be used as a measure of growth as we. Seeing where the student needs help, for example with end sounds, instruction and activities can do done that focus on the ending sounds of words.

Reflection: It is helpful to let the child know that this spelling test is not a graded test but that the student is helping you, the teacher learn how children think when they are attempting to spell unfamiliar words. It is also good to catch potential spelling difficulties early enough to teach proper spelling patterns and rules that would be helpful as the student enters the upper grades.

Name of Assessment: Wepman Auditory Discrimination Test

Assessment Goals: To determine the ability of students to recognize the fine differences that exist between the phonemes used in English speech. This assessment can be given to students and to adults as well.

Format, scoring procedure, and time to administer: The examiner's sheet consists of thirty word pairs differing in a single phoneme in each pair and ten word pairs which do not differ. Thirteen out of the thirty word pairs differ in initial consonants, another thirteen word pairs differ in final consonants and four word pairs differ in the medial vowels. The test is administered orally to one student at a time. The student is seated so that he or she cannot see the examiner's mouth or the words on the examiner's word sheet. The examiner reads each word pair only once, and the student indicates whether the examiner read the same word twice of read two different words. The examiner records the student's responses on the exam sheet. The test takes approximately five minutes to administer. After the test has been completed, the examiner tallies all errors made in both the "x" and "y" columns and writes the sums in the boxes labeled "x" and "y" scores at the bottom of the test sheet.

Format, scoring procedure, and time to administer: The Narrative Retelling Checklist is an assessment set up like a checklist asking students to identify story elements, conflict and key ideas, and problem resolution. All narratives share elements such as character, setting, plot or problem, turning points or key episodes, and end with a resolution to the problem or issue. The checklist accounts for aided and unaided, oral and written retellings. Rubric scores points from 4 down to 1 (4 being the most successful retelling). This is not a timed assessment.

Reason for administering this test: To help young readers identify story elements and main ideas, which aid in comprehension. Teachers can measure the level of detail a student uses when retelling a narrative, or important and main concepts, sequencing events, utilization of charts, graphs, and maps in an expository piece.

Ways in which results can be used in planning instruction: Activities to promote comprehension, focus on story elements, and recalling ideas would be activated if the student's retelling are weak. Graphic organizers, look backs, think alouds, five 'W's and the 'how' are ways in which a student can visually see the important facts needed in a successful retelling.

Reflections: I tried to get more information about this assessment by searching on the Internet, but did not find anything further. This assessment seems self-exclamatory and I think as a qualitative test, it is the up to the examiner's judgment to figure out where the student needs support and help.

Scoring Procedure: Scores from one to six record writers in varying levels of dependence to independence in their writing.

Time to administer: Students should collect their writing all year in portfolios of their work. A range of writing for various purposes, on both assigned and self-chosen topics, can be samples periodically for signs of progress and information for instruction.

Reason for administering this test: To see where the student is as a writer and to prepare instruction and support to take the student to the next level of writing. Using the rubric will pinpoint areas that need to be addressed and drive instruction in those areas.

Reflections: Students can look at their own work and determine what should go into the portfolio. They can measure their own success in writing and can strive for improvement. Teachers can focus on the parts of writing that needs work. The teacher and the student are partners in working together in selection of the work and in conferencing about pieces of writing.

Assessment Goals: A quantitative assessment that will produce a number score to assess reading comprehension

Format: CLOZE is a method by which you systematically delete every fifth word, after the first sentence of a 300 to 500 word passage, and evaluate students' ability to correctly supply the deleted words using context clues and drawing from their own vocabulary. The last sentence in the text remains intact. Therefore, a 500-word piece would have 100 deletions. A 300-word piece would have 60 deletions.

Scoring the CLOZE: Every word the student matches exactly is considered correct.
Score Levels:

58-100 Independent
44-57 Instructional
0-43 Frustration

Reason for giving the CLOZE and implications for instruction.
A score of 58 percent or higher indicates student read the passage with competence. Reading individually will not be difficult for the student.
A score between 44 and 57 percent indicates the passage can be read with some competence by the student; however, reading with some guidance would be beneficial.
A score below 43 percent will probably be too difficult for the student. A great deal of guidance will be needed, or other material should be substituted.

Understanding of important reading terminology like word, letter, beginning of the sentence, top of the page.
Understanding of simple punctuation marks

Format:

Very scripted as outlined below:

Use one of the C.A.P booklets by Marie Clay such as Stones, Sand, Follow Me, Moon, or No Shoes. Or use a simple, illustrated children's book that the student has not seen before.
Hand the student the book, with the spine facing the child and say, "Show me the front of the book."
Open the book directly to the place where print in on one page and a picture on the other. Then say, "Show me where I begin reading." Make sure the child shows the exact place.
Stay on the same set of pages and after the child points to the spot where you begin reading, say, "Show me with your finger where I go next." Then ask, "Where do I go from there?"
Turn to a new page and say, "Point to the beginning of the story on this page>" Then say, "Point to the end of the story on this page."
Turning to another pair of pages and say, "Show me the bottom of the page," (page 8) and then "Show me the top of the page.' Point to the picture and say, "Show me the bottom of the picture," and then, "Show me the top of the picture." (page 7)

On the same page, point to a capital letter with your pencil and say, "Show me a little letter that is the same as this one." (I on page 6) Next, point to a lowercase letter and say, "Now point to the capital letter that is the same as this one." (t on page 12) You may wish to repeat this procedure with other pairs of letters.
Turn to a page that has a period, an exclamation point, a question mark, a comma, and a set of quotation marks. Point to each in turn and ask, "What is this? What is it for?"

Scoring Procedure:

Observe and notate the child's responses on the Concepts About Print Score sheet using the Quick Reference for Scoring Standards, assigning one point for each item scored. A scale of 1 to 9 (Stanines) are provided for age groups between 5 and 7 in order to see how children compare with other children in their age groups.

Time to Administer:

As far as I could see, there was no timed element to this test and some children may answer more promptly than others.

Reasons I chose this assessment: I feel it is important to assess and support young emergent readers by building a foundation for them to construct literacy skills and strategies. The basics come first and we as teachers should not take for granted that every child entering a school environment (pre-school or kindergarten) knows these basic concepts about print. Once we are assured that they are comfortable with the concepts, we can teach further skills for successful readers and writers.

Ways in which results can be used in planning instruction:

After assessing the child's knowledge of print, teachers plan instruction and teach the unknown concepts. Retesting should be done to compare and monitor growth.

Reflections:

It is hard to reflect on this assessment because I have never administered it. However, as I stated above it is more important and age appropriate to assess young children's concept of print, rather than the pressure that has recently been applied for children to memorize all their letters and some words as a part of being literacy ready. Children need to understand the concepts of print before they can make sense of reading and writing.

Competition is fun to them. Dominant styles think it is easy to make money and can't understand why everyone else doesn't think this way, too. They are willing to take risks and do not hesitate very long when making decisions about investments. When they desire a certain price on something they will negotiate down. Davis (1996) tells of people in their offices watching the time hoping for 5:00 o-clock. These people are waiting for the future to reach them in their stagnant office environments. They may have a strategic plan that has marked their path and they seem unable to consider alternatives. A careful or even casual observer will probably conclude that this business is neither prepared for the future nor looking forward to it approaching. Also likely, this organization is in need of radical change or faces extinction.

In a business across the street, people know the time and realize an opportunity for brainstorming. These people, according to Davis (1996), are unafraid of the future, embrace it, anticipate it, and manage it rather than wait for it. Rather than holding to a strategic plan, this group thinks in terms of strategic vision. They scan their horizon for opportunities to change and grow into new markets and products. Is this organization expecting to grow beyond its walls into a new arena where office is a place but not required for work?

Achieving Design Makeover

How do leaders use design to their organizational advantage in a rapidly changing global environment? Taylor and Wacker (2000) share an answer in what they call the age of possibilities. Today, as never before we are free from traditional bonds of work, we are free to choose our futures as well as shape them to suit our own desires and needs. Hoffman (2006) suggested that workers now have ways to shape their destiny and their future in ways past generations of workers could not imagine.

Traditional organizational design follows traditional lines of authority on both horizontal and vertical axes. Contemporary organizational design seeks to eliminate structure and design elements that impede lateral interdepartmental collaboration. These contemporary organizations prefer coordination with what Nadler and Tushman (1997) classify as workers freed from geography, physical structures, and delays in information.

Leaders in contemporary organizations making a design change are active in the midst of the organization, often from the midst of workers and sharing the workload with them. Maxwell (2005) advises leaders not to forget the people. Forgetting them, he says, leaves the leader risking having leadership erode. Leadership demands often force leaders to operate at a speed faster than the organization. Maxwells point is to slow down, To connect with people, you travel at their speed (pg. 214). Leaders might heed the Harpers Bizarre (1967) song lyric, Slow down, you move too fast.

Yet, slowing down is another paradox for leaders who want to change organizational design. Leaders believe they must keep moving to keep the organization moving. By contrast, slowing the pace allows a leader to scan the horizon for new opportunities, sense or see a vision that had not been there before. Budman (2004) wrote in The Conference Board that the future of business would continue to need trainers, and researchers and economists and teachersand executive to manage them all (pg. 1). He continues to sell the idea of a new business design that attracts knowledge workers because workers want to be part of the new design. Thus, the paradox of slowing down may help propel the leader, workers, and the organization forward.

Contemporary design no longer depends on halls and walls and offices as traditional business once did. Budman (2004) continues his discussion on leading knowledge workers. New leaders often find themselves operating in a system of workers separated by thousands of miles. He tells leaders to educate themselves on new technology and global business operations. As Hoffman (2007) observed, In 21st century organizations, leaders have a responsibility toward knowledge networks; granting them resources necessary to develop common capabilities, develop incentives for membership, as well as standards and protocols for sharing information.

Are we observing a shift from the days of going to the office, putting in our eight or ten or twelve hours, punching the time-clock, and calling that work? Is contemporary business shifting from supervised hours to process completed? The fabric of change invites flow of processes completed rather than hours spent at or in the office. Nurturing leaders recognize the value of placement and proper use of people to reap a bountiful harvest. A new reality is emerging; work no longer depends on a physical structure to house workers. There is something new in the business fashion design to improve productivity and business.

The New Design

There are new designs appearing on the thresholds of contemporary businesses. The concepts tear at the fabric of traditional thinking and reorder theories of worker placement. Let us examine one example.

This example is one we are familiar and comfortable with. It is a global business with extensive multilingual Internet presences. Upon reading the organization name, almost everyone has a cognitive reaction. Perhaps, many are members of their networks of buyers, sellers, and marketers. Their Internet home page offers a view of their operational design with this statement:

The evolution of this business design advanced beyond traditional halls and walls to a contemporary business environment not dependent on physical structure.

One consideration involves anticipating the future and embracing the paradox of change. Organizations that determine their strategic plan as the map to the future may not see the changing horizon. They may become unable to adapt as the chaos of change and business disruption overtakes them. Conversely, organizations that seek the future by scanning the ever-changing horizon for opportunities embrace chaos and grow.

Leaders in organizations that anticipate change know the answer to how, when, why, and where change happens. They know the collective answer is when it is least expected. Leaders often operate at a faster pace than the rest of their organizations. However, when leaders slow down and make connections with people, they may attract new workers with new ideas and visions. Thus slowing down may propel the business forward.

As business moves from traditional boundaries to contemporary operations without boundaries, new opportunities exist for virtual business clusters of smaller agile groups located in areas that maximize the small groups business activity. Whether the business is a group wholly owned subsidiaries, a group of local enterprises in a consortium, or clusters of small agile specialized companies, product development now involve consumers sitting at the same table with research and development. Involving consumers and customers shift new products from sequential building blocks to simultaneous product definition (Galbraith, 2000).

Conclusion

In the interest of saving time, effort Juicy Couture Swimwear money, I did away with the typical changing of the season's clothing in my own wardrobe. Yes, you heard correctly. Here it is, an easy way to organize your clothing, thumb your nose at the fashion experts and live a life of your own, choosing your own clothing.

By using this particular method, I have done away with having to put away my winter clothes and taking out my summer clothing as I have a system and pattern of living in which all my clothes are good all year round.

You ask, how is this possible. Just by not paying attention to fashion experts and by deciding on my own clothing each day instead of asking the experts what they think and instead of dressing according to the current magazines and current commercials on television, I save the time of the season's change of clothing. All this time is put to better things.

So, how did I do this?

I supply my wardrobe with tank tops and sleeveless tops and I wear these all year round. Yes, even in cold winter days, I am wearing colorful tank tops and sleeveless tops. Only in winter, and fall, I cover up the tank top with a nice, professional-looking blouse or man-tailored shirt. I purchase the zip-off pants and thus have long pants and shorts in one pair of pants. I wear them long in winter and fall and just zip them off in summer and on hotter days. I even dress in my outer-wear in layers. Instead of having a huge, bulky coat just for winter, I used wonderful fleece, lighter jackets under my smaller winter jackets.

Dressing this way, there is no such thing as summer or winter clothing. This has worked for me for years and will work for me for another hundred years if I want it to work that long. So the next time you are out shopping for clothing, consider tank tops, jeans and zip-off long pants that convert to shorts. Check out some reversible clothing and that will save you space in your closets also.

You might even consider checking out the thrift stores instead of going to regular stores. Are you an environmentalist? If you want to save the earth, buy everything used whenever possible. I have found some great brand name clothing in thrift stores, yes, even in the Salvation Army and Good Will. Once on a visit there I saw J. Peterman jackets selling for ten dollars and J. Crew pants selling for seven dollars. You cannot beat prices like that. And the stores had lots of brand-name items and fractions of the new cost. Some of the better stores have clothing that is in good used condition but some actually looked brand-new. When shopping for fashion or just shopping for everyday clothing, hit the thrift stores, garage sales and clearance sales first. You might not need any other stores.

You have been told throughout your life, and you may believe that it is important, to keep abreast of world events. As a former news junkie, I thought those thoughts throughout most of my life. Of course, I was sleepwalking then.

I prided myself on knowing what was going on in the national and international arenas and I could debate my beliefs from a position of knowledge that I gained from absorbing news in all forms. I put a lot of attention on the news of fear and I really knew the news. But I didn't know myself very well. I knew lots of stuff exterior to myself but I wasn't that well versed on what was deep inside of me.

I considered myself an Murad in the ways of the exterior world and kept struggling to find answers to why I wasn't more successful or just plain happy. I accepted the words of others as my own truth and kept trying to reconcile why my life did not reflect my innermost desires.
